Prairie Landing Golf Club is a Scottish links-style course designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., who successfully sculpted picturesque rolling hills into the flat landscape of the Illinois prairie. The winner of numerous Audubon Society for Prairie Preservation awards, Prairie Landing offers 300 acres of pristine, impeccably maintained grounds and rolling vistas. The historic charm of the famous McChesney Mansion, built in 1868, is the centerpiece around which our clubhouse was constructed. Its Italianate architecture and classic lines adorn our exquisite banquet room. With beautiful windows from floor to ceiling overlooking the distinctive rolling landscape of the course and vistas, the banquet room comfortably accommodates as many as 200 guests or as few as 15. To incorporate the splendor of the countryside into your ceremony, the facility also includes two outdoor sites, The Terrace and Tee Box on the Green, accommodating wedding ceremonies up to 200 guests.
