From the moment a guest steps into The Fairmont Copley Plaza, they experience the hospitality of a forgotten era. As the hotel approaches a century of service, the “Grand Dame of Boston” remains a timeless haven where the cares of a world retreat and luxury, along with gracious service, are a way of life.
Long regarded as a Boston institution, The Fairmont Copley Plaza formally opened on August 19, 1912. Mayor John “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald, President Kennedy’s grandfather and then mayor of Boston, presided over a reception for more than 1,000 guests. Since the hotel’s opening more than nine decades ago, nearly 7,000 couples have celebrated their wedding day with us. Let The Fairmont Copley Plaza become a part of your history.
