The most important events in our lives are celebrations! Join us in making your special occasion a lasting memory. Experience elegant and exquisite food, while celebrating in one of New Haven’s oldest social gathering places.
Founded in 1891, the New Haven Lawn Club, home of NHLC Catering, Inc., is located in downtown New Haven. The present Georgian mansion, on the list of Registered Historic Places in Connecticut, is positioned in an area of stately homes. The mansion provides a stunning backdrop for picture taking and memory making. Typical of a more gracious era, the present building bears distinctive architecture, setting a mood of elegance and grace. The club was reconstructed after a devastating fire in 1929. The current building was completed in 1931, modeled in a Regency deco-style by architect Douglas Orr. The mansion boasts an impressive 662,000 cubic feet.
