The Henry Ford estate, a National Landmark on the campus of the University of Michigan-Deaborn, is the former home of automaker, Henry Ford and his wife, Clara. Reflecting the Ford's love for nature, the residence was built with rough-hewn Ohio limestone to harmonize with the surrounding countryside. Designed by noted landscape architect, Jens Jensen, the grounds were transformed from farmland into a natural, native landscape.
